·        Friday 3rd February, 8.00pm – Action for Children presentation. Scouts are being sponsored to “sleep rough” for one night to raise money for Action for Children.  This will be preceded by a presentation from an A4C representative at about 8.00pm. If anyone from the church would like to join the Scouts for the talk they would be very welcome. 

·        Tuesday 7th February, 10.30am – Wesley Walkers meet at Burchetts Green School car park, Burchetts Green Road (OS Ref 838812) for a 3 mile walk around Hall Place and Prospect Hill.  Due to limited space, car sharing is advised.  Lunch after at Shire Horse, Littlewick Green. ·        Thursday 9th February, 7.45pm – Mission & Outreach Committee meeting in the Bromley Room

·        Tuesday 14th February, 2.00 – 4.00pm – Kids’ Film Club in the Wesley Hall. Open to all - Just turn up, no need to book.

·        Sunday 26th February, 6.00pm – International Taizé Service at St Luke’s Church.  Service will be followed by refreshments. All welcome.

·        Monday 5th March – Daffodil Day at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster.  This is the largest Methodist meeting of the year and a coach has been booked from Burnham for those who wish to attend.  To reserve your place please contact Jo Webb on 01628 603014.  Tickets priced £10 inclusive are available now.

OTHER NOTICES

·       TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PEDESTRIAN ACCESS -The path between West Street and the Church is going to be closed from Monday 13 February to Friday 13 April. During this period users of West Street car park will need to come through the little alleyway opposite the Portland Arms.

·       PUDDING CLUB hope to "meet" next Sunday after the morning Service.  Please either BRING or BUY (H.U.G.)

·       CHURCH QUESTIONNAIRE – We will shortly be starting to collate responses, but are still hoping to get a few more questionnaires returned.  The more questionnaires we receive, the more representative the results will be, so we would like to encourage anyone who has not yet completed a questionnaire to do so as soon as possible.  Forms are available in the Church. YOUR views are important to us.

·        ACTION FOR CHILDREN (NCH) – It is time for boxes to be returned for their annual opening.  If you are unable to bring them to church, please contact Jean and Bill Barnett on 629675 to arrange collection. Thank you.

JUNIOR CHURCH

During January and February Junior Church will continue to follow the 'Roots' material.  Our theme this time is, 'Discipleship' and we will be exploring how to live our lives more like Jesus.

We will have our arts and crafts, stories, music, games, food, prayers and DVDs. New friends are always welcome to join us and there is something for all ages.

Sun 29th Jan - there is no separate Junior Church today as we have an opportunity to be together in All Age Worship
