Loving God,

the light of the minds that know you,

the life of the souls that love you,

and the strength of the wills that serve you :

help us so to know you

that we may truly love you,

and so to love you

that we may truly serve you,

whom to serve is perfect freedom;

through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

OTHER NOTICES

·       MAIDENHEAD AND DISTRICT ARTS COUNCIL MaDac) is organising an Auction event in aid of Norden Farm Arts Centre which has lost Arts Council funding. The plan is to raise some much needed money for the centre and bring Community Arts together for a sociable/fun evening. MaDac is looking for 'promises' to auction.  Please contact Tony Stock (tel 630907 email tonythestock@btinternet.com ) for details.

·       TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PEDESTRIAN ACCESS -The path between West Street and the Church is going to be closed from Monday 13 February to Friday 13 April. During this period users of West Street car park will need to come through the little alleyway opposite the Portland Arms.

·       CHURCH QUESTIONNAIRE – We will shortly be starting to collate responses, but are still hoping to get a few more questionnaires returned.  The more questionnaires we receive, the more representative the results will be, so we would like to encourage anyone who has not yet completed a questionnaire to do so as soon as possible.  Forms are available in the Church. YOUR views are important to us.

·        ACTION FOR CHILDREN (NCH) – It is time for boxes to be returned for their annual opening.  If you are unable to bring them to church, please contact Jean and Bill Barnett on 629675 to arrange collection. Thank you.

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN MAIDENHEAD

·        Maidenhead Churches FoodSHARE - URGENT APPEAL Foodshare is now supplying food to over 20 families in Maidenhead and this need is likely to increase over the coming weeks.  Those urgently seeking help from Foodshare are experiencing severe poverty through no fault of their own.  One couple has recently been diagnosed as suffering from malnutrition.  The Foodshare store of food is reaching critically low levels and your help in contributing items – rice, soup, tea, pasta, coffee, dried milk, cereals etc. – would be gratefully received.  A tin of soup or packet of rice etc. per person on a regular weekly basis would alleviate considerable suffering for a lot of families.  Thank you for your support.
