The Church membership numbers about 200 but many other non-members actively
support the life and worship of the Church.Sunday worship has a traditional
emphasis but includes variety through music, lighting, drama and readings appropriate
to modern tastes. Family and Parade services are held usually monthly as part of the
morning worship and both Iona-style and Taize-styles of worship along with Healing
Services feature periodically in the evenings.
In addition to the fortnightly early morning communion service, the sacrament of communion
is shared monthly at both the morning and evening worship. The sacrament is open to all of
whatever church affiliation or none. Children are encouraged to participate in the communion
service.
The young people's church operates each Sunday in parallel with the morning worship and
young and old combine in a joint act of worship. A crèche for younger children is
provided for the 10.30 Sunday Morning worship.
Music is provided by:
- a 2 manual organ with a rota of 5 organists
- a Kawai grand piano
- a 30-strong four part choir
- an enthusiastic, and musical, congregation.
